Lady Who Was An Errand Girl, That Goes Out To Buy Food For Staffs, Now Owns A PR & Communications Firm

A lady named Blossom Martins has shared a motivational post on LinkedIn, using her life as an example, reminiscing on the journey so far.

Sharing on LinkedIn, she wrote;

My life is actually not a bed of roses, I also do not have my entire life all figured out,
My life is not perfect, and I do not have everything I want….
I let young people know this every time they encounter me,
I try as much to kill the “All perfect blossom” notion.. Cos it is unrealistic.

I grew from a studio rat to a radio broadcaster
I grew from the errand girl who goes out to buy food for staff every 1:30pm to having my own PR and Communications Firm…
I grew from selling 20 naira campus magazines on the streets of Nnamdi Azikiwe University to having my own blog and becoming an influencer…
I grew from an abusive relationship to discovering my self worth and becoming the strongest black woman alive…

I grew from organizing campus shows and gigs, and blowing balloons for zigs events and style to having my own event company…

I grew from being broke, to empowering myself to becoming financially independent…

It’s being a process…
I grew over time ….

I didn’t just wake up to becoming a whole woman…

I had my own share of struggles, (the struggles actually never ends)
As you get bigger the challenges and the struggles gets bigger as well…

The bills get bigger too, so we have to triple what we do to pay the bills….

Perfection is impossible….

No one ‘s life is perfect, plus social media is deceptive, it shows only the brightest side of a person ‘s life..

I have grown to become very picky with whom I give my energy to.
I prefer to reserve my time, intensity and spirit exclusively to those who reflect sincerity. You will never see me waste words on people who deserve my silence (hence why I hardly reply trolls). Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is nothing at all. 😁

The 3C’s in my Life” Choice, Chance, Change.

You must make the choice, to take the chance, if you want anything in life to change, cos in the end, we only regret the chances we didn’t take.

Throw me to the wolves and I will return leading the pack.

Cheers to Friday and life 🥂
