Lady Who Got A Scholarship Rejection Mail 5 Months Ago, Rejoices As She Received An Offer From The Same Scholarship Team In U.K
A lady named Onome Etim is amazed at the way God works as she was surprised to get a scholarship offer from the same team that sent her a rejection mail barely 5 months ago.
Sharing the exciting news on LinkedIn she wrote;
About 5 months ago, I received my last scholarship rejection mail. I felt a mix of emotions, and content was not one.
I had already accepted the reality of beginning another round of applications when God said No.
Exactly one month following that rejection mail, I woke up to an offer from the same scholarship team.
By the special grace of God, I am currently pursuing an MPH in international development at one of UK’s Russel Group schools, fully funded by the prestigious Allan & Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust.
God’s word to us in Ecclesiastes 3 was my greatest reassurance throughout my application process.
I am grateful to everyone who encouraged me, those who shared helpful resources with me, and those who helped in reviewing my essays.
I fully acknowledge that I wouldn’t have made it solely by my own strength.
To give back, I will be reviewing application essays for 3 grad school applicants. I will also make myself available to them for emotional support, and guidance throughout their application process.
