Kidn@pped Family Regains Freedom Following Sunday Igboho’s Two-Hour Ultimatum in Oyo State

Residents of Igboho in Oyo State erupted in celebration after a kidn@pped family, including a pregnant woman, her children, and a sibling, reportedly regained their freedom shortly after a two-hour ultimatum issued by Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho.

Videos shared online showed jubilant residents singing and dancing as they welcomed the victims back to the community.

The reported release followed a strong warning from Igboho to suspected Fulani leaders in the area over growing concerns about kidn@pping and insecurity. In an earlier viral video, he addressed community representatives and traditional rulers, expressing outrage over alleged abductions and k+llings linked to criminal activities in the region.

Referring to a recent kidn@pping case involving a pregnant woman, Igboho alleged that a person who delivered ransom was k+lled while only one victim was spared. He warned that such incidents would no longer be tolerated.

The activist subsequently issued a two-hour deadline for the release of other kidn@pped victims, noting that he had remained calm out of respect for appeals made by traditional rulers.

Declaring that the community had endured enough, Igboho warned that failure to comply with the ultimatum would result in decisive action, including operations targeting locations suspected to be connected to the kidn@ppings.

Following the expiration of the deadline, videos from the town showed residents celebrating what was described as the successful release of the abducted family. However, the exact circumstances surrounding their freedom were not immediately clear at the time of reporting.
