Popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke, known by his stage name as Davido, has revealed the depth of his love for his wife-to-be and mother of his first son, Chioma.

The singer made a vow that would shock many Nigerians. In an interview with New York-based radio station Hot 97, Davido said he would go to jail for Chioma’s, if she ever commits a crime.

The singer made the statement when he was asked if he would do so. The singer was also asked the highest amount he ever spent on his significant other. He revealed that he spent the highest amount during a shopping trip to Dubai.

According to him, he spent N16.5 million ($46,000) shopping for her at a mall. He noted that he bought three bracelets, two bags, and other stuffs.
