“I Don’t Like How I Look, But I Think It’s Going To Get Better, My Doctor Told Me It’s Going To Get Better”- Uche Ogbodo

Uche Ogbodo, the Nollywood actress, has provided an update on her recent non-surgical facial cosmetic procedure, admitting that “I don’t like how I look”.

On Friday, the actress shared a video on Instagram documenting the aftermath of her facial rejuvenation, one day after the treatment.

In the clip, she acknowledged that her face appeared swollen and markedly different, expressing initial dissatisfaction with the results.

Ogbodo, however, said she is hopeful it would improve, adding that her doctor had assured her that the swelling would go down and her face would look better.

“This is day one after my facial rejuvenation; my whole face is swollen. Honestly, I don’t know. I look so different; I don’t like how I look, but I think it’s going to get better. My doctor told me it’s going to get better and look finer, so let’s see what happens,” she said.

In an accompanying caption, the actress said the procedure was about giving her face the love and care it deserves.

She added that she was not seeking perfection or trying to meet any expectations about ageing, describing the decision as a personal choice.

“Day 1 of giving my face the love, care and attention it deserves. I’m not chasing perfection. I’m simply choosing to look refreshed, youthful, confident and very much like myself,” she wrote.

“No hiding. No apologies. No pressure to age a certain way. This is my face. My journey. My choice. And baby… are we about to glow or what? Goddess mode: activated.”

Ogbodo’s facial procedure comes a few weeks after she announced her separation from estranged husband Bobby Maris.
