“I Didn’t Have Premarital S3x With My Wife Because Her Mother Begged Me Not To” – Morayo Brown’s Husband Reveals
Afolabi Brown shared insights about the early challenges in his marriage to media personality Morayo Afolabi Brown.
He revealed that the first three years were filled with frequent arguments and conflicts.
Over time, their relationship improved significantly.
Afolabi Brown, husband of popular media personality Morayo Afolabi Brown, has shared personal details about the early days of their marriage, revealing that the relationship was far from smooth in its first few years.
Speaking during an appearance on his wife’s television programme, Afolabi disclosed that the first three years of their marriage were marked by frequent arguments and raised voices.
According to him, things eventually changed as time went on, and after about five years together, he developed complete trust in his wife.
He explained that many people had given him misleading advice before and during the early stages of his marriage. Some warned him against being too kind or accommodating to his wife, insisting that doing so would make him appear weak and cause him to be taken for granted.
Fortunately, he said, his father stepped in with wiser counsel that helped him build a healthier relationship.
“The first 3 years of my marriage, there used to be a lot of yelling, but after 5 years, I realised I could trust my wife with everything.
I was fed a lot of wrong information in the early years of my marriage. I was told not to be too soft for my wife or else I would be taken for granted, but thankfully, my dad was there to correct me.”
Afolabi also reflected on their courtship, revealing why he chose to abstain from premarital sex with Morayo.
According to him, the decision was influenced by his mother-in-law, who personally appealed to him to wait until after marriage. She encouraged him to remain sexually abstinent, assuring him that such a sacrifice would strengthen his faith and position him to receive answers to his prayers.
He admitted that the decision was not difficult because he viewed it as a temporary sacrifice worth making.
“I didn’t have premarital s3x with my wife because her mother begged me not to. She said if I can abstain, there are certain demands I will place on God, and He will answer.
Besides, I have been having s3x before. So, if I abstained for once, it should be okay and shouldn’t be a problem.”
