Ghananian Shoe Maker Laments As His Products Was Rejected By Ghana Police Because They Don’t Wear Ghana Made Boots

A man named Prince Acheampong has lamented bitterly on how his shoe designs was rejected by the Ghananian police. Prince quality boots, while expressing his concern on social media, he wrote;

I want to share my experience on what the finance minister said about government pay roll being full and suggested for the Ghanaian youth
to venture into entrepreneurship.

As a young entrepreneur who produce quality leather boots and other leather apparel. I managed to arrange a meeting with the quarter master general of the Ghana Police service a week ago to present samples of my boots for his perusal hopefully to get a piece of the contract to
produce for the security service.

Upon seeing the boots and testifying of its quality and durability he bluntly said to me “we can’t help you nor work
with you, the Ghana police service doesn’t buy their boots from Ghana”.

I asked him “sir please
can’t you give me just a small quantity to produce for the new recruits?” He said “we can’t help you” I sat down and wondered what the Ghanaian
entrepreneur had done wrong to merit such rejection by its own leaders.

How will the young Ghanaian entrepreneur thrive if measures, support and considerations are not in our favour.
Will the American government reject its own citizen’s handiwork for another?

1 kept asking myself.The system isn’t friendly to us.
