“From Mushin To The United Kingdom”, Nigerian Man Excited As He Gains Scholarship In Reading University U.K

A Nigerian Man is estatic at the moment as he just gained scholarship to study at Reading University. Sharing LinkedIn, he wrote;

From Mushin to the United Kingdom! Local man is excited to announce that I’ve been awarded and accepted the prestigious Chevening Scholarship after a lengthy and rigorous process out of over 74,000 applications globally (8000+ from Nigeria alone).

Now, I can’t keep calm because I’ve been #ChosenForChevening

I’ll be studying Development Communications at the University of Reading to help further my work on Media and Information Literacy globally.

For the past 4 years I’ve been supporting international organisations to build effective MIL policies, programmes and strategies especially targeted at youth inclusivity and I’m excited at this opportunity to scale.

Those who know me know that this has been a long time dream of mine and I’m grateful that I get the chance to make you all proud of the person I’m becoming!

This wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support of my mum, my god mum (Ayo Salvador), my amazing family and Duchess Joy Chiadika and boss Obi Asika
