Nigerians are praising a female councillor, Onem Tyna Miracle, in Bayelsa state who many have said is a perfect example of the selflessness politicians should show.

Photos shared on social media showed the former state of a bridge which was built with planks to create a makeshift passage. The woman completed a bridge for her people and received massive praise on social media.

According to a Facebook user, Ugo Egbujo, who posted the photos online, she used funds meant for a new car to get the project done.

Other snaps displayed the concrete bridge that is presently in place. It is far better than the former where users have to take careful steps.

One of the photos shared on the platform showed her posing with the governor of the state, Douye Diri.
