“Despite The Challenges Times In The 1970s, Which Led Many Of His Peers To Seek Opportunities Abroad, He Chose To Stay Because He Believed In The Resilience Of This Great Nation”- Real Estate Entrepreneur Sijibomi Ogundele Shares Encounter With Atiku

Sijibomi Ogundele is a Nigerian real estate entrepreneur, and just recently he met with his mentor Atiku in Abuja. He shared his encounter with him on X, he wrote:

“For the past 15 years, every time I visited Abuja, I made it a point to pay homage to my father, mentor, and friend, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. His unwavering support, inspiration, and constant reminders about the importance of Integrity and perseverance in business have always guided me.

On this special occasion, as we shared thoughts over an incredible lunch and an unforgettable experience, Alhaji recounted how Perseverance and Patience were pivotal to his success. He shared that despite the challenging times in the 1970s, which led many of his peers to seek opportunities abroad, he chose to stay because he believed in the resilience of this great nation and the strength of its people.

In his words, “Suji, you are doing a lot, and I understand things might be difficult today, but please continue. Don’t doubt your capacity for even a second or give up on the nation; everything will improve, and you shall reap the fruits of your labour and the dividends of your actions.”
