
“Your Dreams Are Valid”- Chess Master Tunde Onakoya Speaks On The Audacity Of Hope At Harvard Graduate School
Tunde Onakoya is a Nigerian chess player and coach, who holds the Guinness World Records for the longest marathon chess game.
As the founder and covener of Chess in Slums Africa, he has organised a number
interventions for children across slums in Lagos state including Majidun (Ikorodu), Makoko and recently, Oshodi.
Just recently he was a guest at the Harvard graduate school where he spoke to students on the audacity Of hope.
Sharing photos on X, he wrote:
“I had the great privilege of speaking to Loeb fellows at the Harvard graduate school of design on the audacity of hope as rebellion against entropy.
The audacity of hope isn’t a promise that all will be well, it’s a vow that we will fight for “well” no matter how long it takes.
