This time, however, the mum of one has written an emotional and sweet open letter to her baby girl, Aaliyah Alisha Powers, in which she showered her with praises and promises of everlasting love and protection.

Gifty also recounted how the pregnancy took her by surprise since she wasn’t physically or mentally ready to be a mother. However, the arrival of Alisha opened doors for her, brought goodness back into her life and gave her opportunities she thought were forever gone.

“I promise that for as long as I breathe, I will build an empire that you and your siblings will enjoy from, you will never lack, you will be an outstanding queen that you are meant to be, you already are, I will never allow a fly or a pig to touch you. You have no idea how happy that I am your mother, a woman that carried you for complete 9 months and gently pushed you out with an exact 5 minutes natural birth,” she stated. She promised never to abandon her daughter, saying she will always lend her a shoulder or ear whenever she needed it.
