“When I Decided To Go Study Law, Many Close Friends Laughed And Said Deji Stop Wasting Your Time Nothing Will Come Out Of It, Today I Am In Dubai For A Major Deal”- Deji Adeyanju Shares Touching Story As He Celebrates A Milestone

Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju shares success story.

In his words:

“The leading of God a.k.a divine direction is what makes the difference in our lives.

There are people we use to hustle together over 2 decades ago who are still in the same spot after many years.

And it’s not that I am better than them in any way but I took uncomfortable risk due to divine direction.

There are guys we were together in activism & politics who are still in the same spot. When I left politics 9yrs ago, people told me I was stupid because they felt I was close to many powerful people in PDP, I laughed and never looked back.

The decision then looked like a bad decision and things didn’t look good but I was convinced in my spirit it was the right decision.

Today, it’s unimaginable that some of our friends are still in dead PDP and can’t see beyond that.

Others following politicians around running errands. Some of our friends are still shouting and fighting police daily at the barricades. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong protesting at the barricades from time to time but it shouldn’t be a way of life after 2 decades.

There is a time and season for everything in life. Life is meaningless without growth. When I decided to go study law, many close friends laughed and said Deji stop wasting your time nothing will come out of it, today I am in Dubai for a major deal.

The exploits have not even started yet by the grace of God. The kind of money I have seen in law practice, I never thought it was humanly possible but the greatest lesson I have learnt about life is to believe in divine direction and know when to leave a particular place or thing and move to the next plan of God for your life if not you will be stagnant in life. May we all receive the help of God and make progress in life.”
