What You Don’t Know About Pastor Adeboye

‘Daddy GO’ holds a Bachelor’s (BSc.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, (1967), a Masters (MSc.) Degree in Hydrodynamics and a Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Applied Mathematics, both from the University of Lagos,(1969 & 1975), respectively.

Daddy GO is an accomplished academic but laid all his accolades down to obey the voice of God Almighty.

What an example of meekness and obedience.

He became the General Overseer of RCCG in 1981. From the 40 parishes, that he inherited when he resumed in 1981, the church has grown to over 32,000 parishes (still counting) in Nigeria alone. Also, the church now has a presence in over 180 countries.

The church also has a university, a college, hundreds of primary and secondary schools, numerous clinics, several endowed chairs in universities and much more, several changed and transformed lives.

Daddy has also been an example of humility, holiness and wisdom.

Pastor Adeboye is a testimony of how a leader can inspire volunteers to support an organisation to grow, become transformed and multiply.

The RCCG is Nigeria’s biggest story of expansion.

You are indeed a model and worthy example.

As long as I am breathing, the vision of RCCG is my vision.
