Many people do not know that his own journey started years before we got married but for some reasons which I am not ready to share, he was not able to complete that phase.

As soon as we got engaged, I was still serving the nation then. My husband called me one morning to make sure I buy MSc form that month. I was like… As how na? How do I get the money? He said “use your alawee”. Remember he couldn’t give me the money because of DL rules. I obeyed and got the form.

I remember telling him that I am not working yet. How will I fund the program? He was just laughing at me🤣🤣🤣
Okay! I started the MSc., finished in 2018 and he still did not let me be! He asked me to go get a PhD form. As how na? PhD without a job yet? I got the form as well and started the program. All bills on him!

Family was there ooo both extended and immediate drawing him vam vam vam like a generator 🤣🤣🤣. He was also attending to his own studies too.

I tell you, I was the one who got discouraged many times to forget book and face motherhood and scrolling Facebook feeds🤣🤣🤣. My husband will not agree ooo. He will even shout sometimes to make sure I hear it very well that quitting was not part of the game.

I later got a job in 2020, and he never for once asked me to use my salary to fund the program. He kept at it without complaining till we saw the finish line.

Now, he has started again ooo. “You need to start writing lots of papers”. “You need it for…” Ew! Chim! But I love it like this.

Who won’t submit to such a man? Why will submission be that hard? Well, I don’t know how people define submission but I know that it is not hard at all!

I think I have written enough. I am not writing to sound his praise that’s why I’m not even tagging him (he doesn’t not like anything social media). Well, I think the message has been passed.
