This Entrepreneur Left His Nine-To-Five Job As A Bank Branch Manager To Start A Mobile Coffee Business, Meet
Tungamirayi Musungwa
Tungamirayi Musungwa left his “nine-to-five” job as a bank branch manager to start a mobile coffee business.
He experienced a life-defining moment when he attended on-the-job training with Seattle Coffee Company in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Musungwa returned to Zimbabwe with his newfound knowledge and co-founded a coffee business with a determination to do things differently.
He was now confident and up for the next challenge.
Musungwa founded Zimbarista, a mobile coffee business serving teas and a variety of espresso-based coffees.
He quickly identified schools as a market where parents and guardians gather for school drop-off and at corporate events.
Training has also become a big part of the work of Zimbarista as the business grows.
Musungwa hopes to include more training sessions, open Zimbarista branches across Zimbabwe, and roast and sell his coffee beans.
