She always told her dad that she would travel abroad and he will laugh and say Amen.

Chidinma received her admission letter from Germany, she traveled on air for the very first time.

See this winter jacket that saved my life through out my flight across Africa, Asia, and Europe for the first time on air and still doing so till today because it is really cold in Germany this summer.

They are telling me that this is just a preamble and nothing compared to winter, but please lemme feel my cold in peace until the winter ❄️ 🥶

I bought the jacket in 2014 on my way back from work one day.

It didn’t have much use because in the hot and busy Lagos, Nigeria, it is known to be worn most times by motorcycle riders during rain to shield them from cold and heavy breeze.

In 2014, the jacket was very big and long but whenever I wore it I got the big girl feeling that I looked like the white people I see in the movies during the snowy Christmas season (The younger me was so happy with the feeling).

I will always tell my dad I would travel abroad and he will laugh and say Amen 🙏

At a time the jacket stayed in the wardrobe for 7 years and all I did was wash it whenever I felt like from 2015-2021.

Sincerely, the day I received my admission letter from Germany, I stood up, opened the wardrobe and spoke to the jacket “we are going to Europe, time to be useful. Hahahhahaa 😄 I was so excited I couldn’t control the joy.

Today the jacket is kind of tight and can’t Zip up but it is the most warm thing I posses now that shields me against the cold.
