SSA To The Delta State Governor On Media Ovie Success Ossai Berates VDM For Drawing His Face On The Wall Of A School

In his words:

“VERY DARK MAN DRAWING HIS FACE AND BURNA BOY ON A SCHOOL WALL WHERE CHILDREN LEARN “A FOR APPLE” IS DISAPPOINTING AND UNACCEPTABLE

I am highly disappointed.

How can someone draw a photo of himself and a man with tattoos, plaited hair and nose ring on the wall of a school where innocent children come to learn A for Apple, B for Boy, C for Cat?

This is a place of learning, not a shrine for social media show-off.

The school authority must act immediately.
They should clean that drawing and restore the dignity, sanctity and innocence of that school environment.

Yes, we appreciate individuals who support government by renovating government schools. It is commendable.

But renovating a government school does not give you the right to paint your face on the school building.

A school is not your personal property.

This is against all educational standards, moral standards and child psychology.
What message are we passing to those little children? That they should aspire to be tattooed and plait hair?

And worst of all, beside that school is a government school. This rascality should not be seen in such an environment.

Philanthropy should come with modesty, not self-glorification.

If you want to do portrait advertisement, build your own private house and draw it there. Leave our children alone.

This must not stand.

I am totally disappointed and I call on the Ministry of Education to intervene immediately.

Our schools must remain schools, not billboards.

I am disappointed.”
