“She Was From Nubi And Their People Are Very Cheap They Didn’t Charge Like Imo State”- Blord Opens Up On How His Wife’s Family Received Him, Says They Were Not Financially Demanding

Businessman Blord has opened up about his marriage, revealing that he never formally proposed to his wife and describing their relationship as one that lacks the romantic gestures many couples enjoy.

Speaking during an interview, Blord said there was never a “Will you marry me?” moment. Instead, he simply told his wife he wanted to marry her and asked for her father’s phone number so their families could begin the marriage process.

“I didn’t propose to her. I think it was in December, I said, ‘I want to get married to you.’ I just told her, ‘Give me your father’s number. Let my father call him. Let’s get married.’ We didn’t do all the ‘Say yes, say yes,’” he said.

He also commended his wife’s family for making the marriage process easy, saying they were not financially demanding. “ She was from Nubi and their people are very cheap they didn’t charge like Imo state. They were not expensive. They even contributed in the marriage,” he added.

Blord went on to describe himself and his wife as an unromantic couple.

According to him, his wife used to be more affectionate, but over time she became like him because he never reciprocated her romantic gestures.

“She was more romantic before, but due to me not reciprocating, she became like me too. None of us are romantic,” he said.

Explaining further, Blord said they do not engage in public displays of affection, revealing that they neither hold hands nor kiss in public. He admitted that they are not any different behind closed doors.

“We cannot even hold ourselves on the road. We cannot do all those kiss.

We don’t do public display when We’ve not even done inside display. We don’t do all these couple things,” he said with a laugh.

He humorously compared their relationship to that of an elderly couple, saying, “We don’t do all these young couples things. We are living old people that have been married for more than 30 years. In fact, people who have been married for more than 30 years are even better than me.”
