Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about her health challenges and prolonged absence from social media as she celebrates her 25th birthday.

The actress, who appeared in a wheelchair in a birthday video, revealed that she had been struggling with severe pain and difficulty moving around for several months.

In the video, she said “Hi everyone. It’s my Silver Jubilee. This new phase of my life, I pray to God for total calm. Happy birthday to me.

I know many of you may be surprised seeing me in a wheelchair. Well, welcome to another chapter of my life. Let me walk you through what my life has been since many of you have asked questions of my absence. So, perfect day to give a response to those who actually genuinely care.

For several months now, I lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor, very minor, but eventually led to this. But things took a major turn after the last public gathering I hosted, my Children’s Day carnival. It’s been one test after another that I jokingly started calling myself a lab rat.

The pain became, how can I explain this? The pain became excruciating. Sometimes I find myself walking well, and sometimes I just can’t move. I cried. I looked on to God for His divine healing, as He alone has the final say on my life.”
