Proud Lady Celebrates As She Was Promoted To The Rank Of Colonel In The U.S. Army, Says Not In Her Wildest Dreams Did She Imagine Being There

A young lady named Nadine Nally has celebrated her big win on LinkedIn as she was recently promoted to
rank of Colonel in the U.S. Army.
Says she never evisaged being there.

A week ago, I pinned on the rank of Colonel in the U.S. Army. I have had many reflections – not in my wildest dreams did I imagine being here.

This promotion has really hit me differently – from the cards, letters, emails and text – confirmed that folks are rooting for me and are continuing to sponsor me.

I look to my left and my right and realize that I don’t see many people that look like me. While I am fortunate that I have had to live in a lifetime of firsts – from Martinsville, to Morgan State ROTC program, to now in the Cyber Branch…

It’s an Affirmation – that anything is possible. That I am a beacon of hope. I accept this knowing that I won’t be the last. I remain humbled by the charge I’ve been given…
