Proud Lady Celebrates 15 Years At Her Job, Remembers How The First Suit She Wore To Resume At Her Job In KPMG Cost 5,000 And She Could Only Afford One

A lady named Nneka Jethro Iruobe has shared an inspirational message on her LinkedIn page, while celebrating 15 years at her job in KPMG. The lady reveals how she bought the first suit 5,000 she wore while getting set for the job, and that was the only suit she could afford. Nneka added one must not be in a hurry to impress or look expensive.

“My first suit cost 5,000 and I could only afford one.

I remember buying it in Lagos island with my mom ahead of resuming at KPMG Nigeria, it was a velvety red skirt suit and I wore it sparingly in the first few months to preserve it’s lifespan.

I remembered that skirt suit while looking for a picture to celebrate my 15th year anniversary this month.

Your first corporate outfit may have been a hand-me- down or a drift outfit, or really poor quality, bit trust the process .

Don’t be in a hurry to impress or look expensive.
