Ochacho Pledges To Spend $1M On Son Ice King’s Album Promotion

Mohammed Adah, the Nigerian real estate businessman popularly known as King Ochacho, has pledged to spend $1 million to promote his son Ice King Ochacho’s forthcoming album.

Ochacho made the declaration during a phone call with TikTok influencer Habeeb ‘Peller‘ Hamzat.

He told Peller he was willing to pay social media handlers, influencers and streamers to promote the album on their pages.

“All the influencers, all the social media handlers wey you get, if dem dey up to 1000, I go send all of them money, make everybody post Ice King album on their page to promote the album,” he said in pidgin English.

“Send me the contacts of all your social media handlers and those working with you, even if they are 1000 in number I will send them cash so they post Ice King’s album before it drops. I will use $1M to promote the album”🤯🔥

Born Shedrack Mohammed Adah in Otukpo, Benue state, on August 6, 2013, Ice King started to show interest in music at the age of seven and began freestyling and experimenting with rap.

The young rapper and Afrobeats singer is also a multi-instrumentalist who plays the drums, guitar, saxophone and clarinet.

He gained attention after a freestyle video went viral on social media, earning him the nickname ‘Wonder Kid’. He later released songs including ‘E Choke’, which had a remix featuring Teni.

In 2025, Ice King released his debut EP, ‘I’m Back’, a six-track project featuring songs such as ‘Ochacho Money’ and ‘Oh Papa’.
