Nigerian Woman Returns N38m Mistakenly Sent Into Her Account By Chinese Company

Chinese company mistakenly transfers N38m into Nigerian woman’s account instead of N38k, this was how it happened

A Nigerian businesswoman, Sola Ismail, has shown that there are many honest Nigerians in the country who would do the right thing no matter how inconvenient.

In a Facebook post by Elder Olabisi Ekwueme, he said that woman wanted a refund of money she had paid to a Chinese company for a product which they later did not have.

The refund was to be N41,000 but the company said they would only return N38,000. Perhaps due to an error, the company transferred the sum of N38 million into her account.

Without batting an eyelid, the woman returned their money after deducting bank charges she incurred on the error transfer.

As a response, the company returned her full N41,000 they initially refused to return. Olabisi went ahead to say that story like Sola’s is proof that there are upright Nigerian.
