Nigerian man named Toyyib Adewale Adelodun on Facebook has gone down memory lane as he shared how he was denied Visa 7 times in more than 5 years. The young man who used his story to encourage others, says today he’s having dinner in London and breakfast in Paris.

Sharing on Facebook, he wrote:

“It took more than 5 years and 7 rejections to get my first visa.

Now I can have dinner in London and breakfast in Paris.

There are no latecomer to these things.

A visa rejection is not a reflection of your worth or validation of your qualifications.

I met someone for the first time at a London party recently. He said my story of visa refusals made him try again after rejections in the past.

Now he is in the UK, he has finished his studies and got a job with sponsorship.
