Nigerian Man Shares How His Friend Who Was Kidnapped In Delta State Resigned, From His Job, Sold Everything, And Relocated With His Family To Germany

Nigerian man named Edward Bowale has shared his friend encounter after Nigeria happened to him. Edward narrated briefly how his friend who worked at the oil and gas was kidnapped in Delta State earlier this year and so one day he received a call from him that he has resigned, and sold everything, relocating to Germany with his family.

In his words:

“Earlier this year, something happened that shòòk me to my bone marrow.
A good friend of mine was kidnâ-ppêd in Delta state.

This wasn’t a man strúggliñg to make ends meet. He was in oil and gas, supervising a big project, earning well, and living the kind of life many dream of. Comfort, status, stability he had it all or so we thought.

So a week ago, he called me. Not from Delta this time and not even from Nigeria but from far away Germany. My friend had resigned, sold everything, and relocated with his family to Germany 🇩🇪.

What hit me the most? This was the same friend who always swòre that japa wasn’t for him. He believed in building here, in staying put until life showed him a different reality.

And that’s the thing: japa isn’t always about chasing dòllars or escâping a small salary. Sometimes, it’s about the things mòney will never buy, safety, peace, a chance to breathe.

Although no where in the world is totally safe but the Western countries place more value on human lives and their response to emêrgêncies are top notch.
