Nigerian Man Shares Emotional Reason He Cried After Visiting America For The Very First Time
Nigerian man named Dozie Francis Okpaleke on Facebook has shared reasons why he cried the moment he landed in America for the very first time.
Dozie noted that, after he landed JFK, New York and also travelled to Boston, Massachusetts, all the tall buildings and all the movies he used to see as a kid and an adult was unfolding before his eyes –
He went further encouraging people to endeavor to visit America.
In his words:
“I lived in the UK for a couple of years but the day I landed America, I legit cried. I landed JFK, New York and also travelled to Boston, Massachusetts. All the tall buildings and all movies I used to see as a kid and an adult was unfolding before my eyes – the good, “the bad” and interesting played out before me.
UK is “cool”, but you see America, you must visit it. It is a must destination for your eyes to experience. Certainly, far from perfect but it is a must visit country. There is a dose of energy America fills you with that is better experienced than told.
The moment you secure a study visa to any Top A country whether it be in Europe, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or elsewhere apply for an American visa. If you don’t enjoy the East side, the West side might be a rodeo.
Since my first visit to America in 2015, I have visited every year except during Covid, still trying to fathom Americanness”
