Beroro Efekoro: Nigerian man bags Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy award

Nigerian Beroro Efekoro, the person who won a legislative council in Albany, New York, has again achieved an enviable milestone.

He bagged 10 Under 10 award of the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy of the State University of New York. The college is composed of departments that ensure its mission on public policy. It should be noted that Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy of the State University of New York also provides support in key areas to the governments of New York and to the United States.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Efekoro received his certificate of election for the county seat he won in New York. The 28-year-old Efekoro had previously contested for a seat in the city’s Common Council in 2017 but lost. In 2019, however, he decided to go for a higher elective post which he eventually won. Albany County-New York will have a new lawmaker come 2020.

With his election, Efekoro will become the youngest member of the 39-member House of the Albany County Legislature. Efekoro lived in Lagos and Delta state as a child. He only moved to the United States of America in the summer of 2008.
