Nigerian Man named Evans Akanno, founder of Vzy, has announced that his company was selected for the Google Startups Accelerator Africa: AI First program, where google intends to give $350,000 to African startups.

Google is offering about $350,000 to Nigerian and other startups from Africa to develop solutions to challenges using artificial intelligence.

Google revealed that the programme seeks to empower startups in Africa via mentorship and other support systems within the ecosystem.
