South African Intern doctor Shongile Nkwhashu, has been murdered by her boyfriend in her room for a reason yet to be known as the police investigation continues.

The police in Mankweng have arrested a 25-year-old suspect, in connection with the murder of a 24-year-old Intern Doctor, Shongile Pretty Nkwashu whose body was found in her room.

The mother of the murdered doctor was spotted weeping uncontrollably at the hospital where her daughter was declared dead.

Reports says, her mother suffered to look after her in school just to see her daughter become a medical doctor only for her to be murdered after just two weeks of employment as a doctor by her insecure boyfriend.

Police investigations are continuing.

Mojapelo said the suspect will appear in Mankweng magistrate court soon.
