What is the name of your business?

The name of our business is In-Grace Digital Resources, Africa.

Did you attend any form of training?

Sure, while in Secondary School, we combined or schooling with apprenticeship.
Afterwards, we have also undergone other trainings, both long term and short term.
The internet has remained a very useful tool for effective learning, for us as well.

What inspired you to start up In-Grace Digital Resources, Africa?

Between 2012-2014, Gideon had written three books all printed by three different companies. We had issues with the three of them ranging from poor quality of work, late delivery and indelible printer’s errors.
The disappointments and heartbreaks we got from those printers prompted us to go into apprenticeship with Obasi United Services here in Enugu and that’s where the journey started.
Our major intention then was to learn printing, so as to start printing our own books in the future but we found out that a business could actually be made out these beautiful skills.

How were you able to raise fund to start up your business?

The fund we started with was for the apprenticeship. It was our life savings and some financial support from family.
We have also taken loans from financial institutions to support the business.
We hope to start applying for grants soon.

How do you source for the materials you use to make your Awards?

We have taken it as our top priority to always make strategic connections with people who deal on materials we use for our work. So, sourcing them becomes easier for us.

What major challenges have you encountered in your business?

A large part of our business is online as our physical office will be officially launched in 2020.
Hence, the basic challenge we have is people trusting our brand to do business without seeing us. You know, in Nigeria, people would always want to see who they are doing business with.
But, with our proven track record of integrity, encapsulated in ART (Affordability, Reliability and Timeliness), we are continuously proving that we can be trusted.

What platform do use to advertise your business?

We advertise through
Word of Mouth
Flyer distributions
Social Media (especially Facebook)
Blogs etc

You’re the boss, how does it feel working for yourself?

It’s not a very palatable journey but it’s worth it. We have to work on ourselves to be disciplined in other to achieve goals.

Will you say it’s been financially rewarding?

Yes, it’s been financially rewarding. Though we are aiming for higher rewards, so we are putting in the works now.

Where do you see your brand in 5 years?

In five years times, we should be on the top radar in the image branding industry.
