Young Entrepreneur Ubong Orok, a fellow of Forestry Association of Nigeria and the CEO Of Greenwolf Nigeria Limited, speaks to Elorasblog in this interview.
Please tell us a little bit about your background?
I’m Ubong Orok, of Greenwolf Nigeria Limited. I hold a Bachelor Degree in Forestry & Environmental Management with Second Class Honours [Upper Division] from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, Nigeria.
I’m a fellow of Forestry Association of Nigeria.
I started my career with a consultancy firm in the Oil & Gas Industry – Sauki Environmental Services Limited, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria as an Environmental Scientist since 2018 till 2023. Due to my quest for self-fulfilment I started GREENWOLF NIGERIA LIMITED and assumed the position of Director/Chief Executive Officer.
As the CEO, I coordinate all of the Company’s affairs and activities, providing detailed direction in accordance with our mission, vision and strategic corporate plans.
I’m responsible for developing feasible business plans, formulation of policies inline with best standard practices, as well as safeguarding quality assurance and control in all projects, ensuring that the objectives of Greenwolf Nigeria Limited are realistic, timely and cost-effective.
While we were younger, we had dreams and aspirations, have you fulfilled any?
Yes, Greenwolf Nigeria Limited is one of them and I’m very much hopeful.
What motivated you to start up Greenwolf Nigeria limited?
Quest for self-fulfilment.
Can you share with me the services that Greenwolf Nigeria limited provides?
Our services includes but not limited to the following:
- Food Mart
- Oil and Gas marketing PMS, AGO, DPK, LPG
- Agricultural Products Brokage
- Environmental Consultancy

How did you come up with this business idea?
I believe if you think deeply enough, ideas will be Birthed. Deep thinking birthed the Business idea and my experience from the oil and gas industry.
Did you attend any form of training before setting up this business?
Yes I’ve undergone trainings and various seminars majorly in the oil and gas industry, I’m certified in HSE courses, Risk Assessment & Management, Project Management etc.
Can you share with me the setbacks and challenges you’ve encountered in this business?
Well, challenges are naturally part of growth process. The present economic realities is telling on Businesses and we’re not an exception but we’re hopeful that there are opportunities in all challenges and that’s why we’re focused on constant improvement of our services to keep our clients, workers, stakeholders, regulators etc happy.
Your landscape contractors provides comprehensive landscape management for sites and facilities, how can we trust your services?
Yes, we’re professional in our mode of operation. We focus on the satisfaction of our clients and what you want is what we do for you. We believe trust is a costly commodity so we sacrifice alot to earn it so we can stay in business.
Where do you see Greenwolf Nigeria limited in 5 years?
We hope to grow bigger with wider reach of clients and we hope to see our services spread across different regions of the country.
