Meet Entrepreneur Meshack Ebimowei, Founder Of IELTS Solution Academy, An Educational Institution Dedicated To Training Prospective IELTS Test-Takers

Young entrepreneur Meshack Ebimowei founded IELTS Solution Academy, he was inspired to start the academy from a heart of service as he was saddened by the number of students who spent significant time, energy and resources to prepare for the international exams only to fail them. He speaks to elorasblog in this interview.

Please tell us a little bit about your background?

My name is Meshack Ebimowei, I graduated from Uniben and I studied Geology. I’m the founder of IELTS Solution Academy, now registered under CAC as Fremack Learning Hub. The institution aims to train individuals writing the IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, GRE, SAT, and the likes. I’ve over seven years experience teaching these exams. I’ve taught in various educational centres, including tertiary institutions and built remarkable portfolio.

What was your dream profession growing up?

Smile! Funnily, I’ve initially dreamt of becoming a civil engineering. This is largely because of the mentality we had as a teenager. I remember discussing with my classmates how we would like to become engineers, doctors, and lawyers. I guess God had a different plan for me after all.

Please share with me your journey to Entrepreneurship?

My journey into entrepreneurship wasn’t really planned, it was simply natural. Mind you, I’m an A1 student right from primary school; I’ve always topped my class. Perhaps this was what ushered me into teaching others to make money. I graduated from secondary school in 2010 and gained admission into the varsity. It’s fascinating how the mindset of being independent had followed me all the way. During my undergraduate periods, I barely call home for pocket money, for I find my way through school. I earn wages by teaching my mates and seniors. I even teach an entirely different course from what I studied. I guess God just blessed me with the teaching and comprehension gift. Yeah! It was amazing! After graduation, I decided to establish IELTS Solution Academy.

What motivated you to
start up IELTS Solution Academy?

IELTS Solution Academy was inspired from a heart of service. I’m saddened by the number of students who spent significant time, energy and resources to prepare for the international exams only to fail them. I’ve the skills needed to help them, so I created this platform for the sake of helping prospective test-takers to navigate the challenges of the exam seamlessly. Moreover, I’ve a vision of providing job for unemployed individuals, making the world a better place to live.

Can you share with me the challenges you’ve encountered running
IELTS Solution Academy?

Oh, I’ve encountered quite a couple of challenges running the business. The main one, however, is getting students to follow their study plan to the fullest. Although this is not the fault of majority of them as they’re workers too, I find this as a challenge.

In five years time, I see the institution expanding her business operation to over 7 states in Nigeria. I see over fifty individuals gaining job opportunity. Most satisfying, I see a lot of students pursuing their dreams and echoing the excellency of the academy.
