Man Who Repeated Class Because He Couldn’t Pay Tuition Fees Bags US Degree

Young man made to repeat a class because he couldn’t pay his school fees graduates from US university

  • Samuel Loveday has done himself proud as he bagged an MBA from a United States varsity
  • Years ago, he was made to repeat a class in secondary school because he couldn’t afford the school fees
  • He had at one point in time dropped out of school but returned back to his books to later become successful.

A young man has braved limitations on his path to becoming an academic success. Samuel Loveday has acquired a college degree from the Nexford university in America.

The Nigerian scholar had before now seen his academic pursuits almost hit the rocks. In a celebratory post he made on Linkedln, Samuel recounted his travails in secondary school.

He said he was made to repeat junior secondary school class 3 years back simply because he wasn’t financially buoyant to pay up his school fees which he described was not up to $3 then.

The HND graduate of Abia state Polytechnic along the line had given up and quit school. No information was disclosed as to what informed that decision or how he reconsidered and returned to school.

But one thing is clear, this wasn’t sheer luck as it took the concerted efforts of the business student and his support system to put him back on the path of education.

Samuel expressed joy just as he ‘celebrated his tears’ as, according to the brilliant lad, they were his motivating factor during those years of tribulation.

His post read in part:

“Congratulations to me for this achievement.
“Same high school boy who dropped out of school and repeated year 3 (junior secondary school) for not being able to pay for a tuition less than $3.00 is now an MBA graduate in an American University #NXUGrad.

“I celebrate the tears in my cheeks that never gave up during those days of ‘great tribulation’.”

While he appreciated his professors and success advisors, he declared:

“Taking up a challenge is a step but getting through it makes the step sweeter. Proudly #NXUGrad. We move to the next challenge!”
