Makinde Gifts Yinka Ayefele New Car After Office Fire

Governor, Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, has gifted veteran singer and broadcaster, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, a brand new SUV following the fire outbreak that gutted the Fresh FM headquarters in Ibadan last Friday.

In a video shared X.com by Oyo Affairs on Tuesday, Ayefele was seen in the company of colleagues celebrating as the car was driven into the station’s premises.

Governor Makinde had visited the station on Sunday around 7:30 p.m. to commiserate with Ayefele and the management team.

During the visit, the governor pledged to strengthen the state’s emergency management and fire response systems to ensure more effective service delivery. — Follow us for more breaking news and videos
