A teacher took to social media to share how he used his savings to buy food for the less fortunate. The Ermelo-based educator has helped 25 families in his community thus far.

Spyda SifisosamaBinda took to the #ImStaying Facebook group to share his story. He used his savings to help eight families with food parcels in one day. Thereafter, he managed to reach 12 families with the help of his former students. “We have brought smiles to 25 families around Ermelo.” He decided to not take pictures of the families because he did not want to exploit their plight. Social media users praised his kind deed.
