A lady whose journey to obtaining education was not a smooth ride, has narrated her experience as an undergraduate at Howard University. Brianna E Plowright said the hardest phase of her college life was when she had to stand at a bus stop in freezing cold waiting to go to school.

Plowright, who took to her LinkedIn page to narrate her experience, said she had to do two jobs to provide for herself.

She said: “As an international student I was overwhelmed and drained, but I remained positive.

“Fast forward to three years later… yesterday to be exact, I started my first Full-time job at Microsoft as a Supply Chain Planner. It took a lot to get here and I’m forever grateful to those who helped a long the way – it really does take a village!”
