Lady Who Accepted To Study Physics Because She Didn’t Want To Spend Another Year Writing Jamb Shares How That Decision Landed Her In The US

Nigerian lady named Chinelo Blessing has
shared how she earned two – fully funded Master’s degrees (in physics and medical physics) in the USA after studying a course she didn’t want but agreed to because she never wanted to spend another year writing jamb.

In her words:

“Ten years ago (2016), I graduated from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) with a Bachelor degree in Industrial Physics.

What many people don’t know is that Physics was never the course I wanted to study 📚; was the course I was offered. Rather than spend another year rewriting JAMB (entrance exam) and hoping for a different course, I chose to embrace the opportunity with a leap of faith.

14 years ago, when I was admitted into Industrial Physics at ESUT, I never imagined that one decision would become the foundation for a journey that would take me across continents – to the USA 🇺🇸

Today, by God’s 🙏 infinite mercy, I have earned two – fully funded Master’s degrees (in physics and medical physics) in the USA 🇺🇸. I am currently pursuing my career in Medical Physics—a path I didn’t even know existed back then.

Looking back, I realize that God 🧎🏽‍♀️‍➡️ was writing a story I couldn’t see! What I once viewed as a disappointment became the very path God used to lead me into opportunities beyond anything I had imagined.

Sometimes life doesn’t go according to our plans, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t going according to God’s plan. God often places us exactly where we need to be long before we understand why.

So if you’re in a season where things haven’t worked out 💪🏾 the way you hoped 🙃, don’t give up 👏🏾. Keep believing. Keep working hard 😇. Keep trusting God 🙏. One day you’ll look back and realize that what felt like a detour was actually divine direction.

I’m grateful for every step of this journey, and I can’t wait to unravel the greatness God has in store for me.

To God alone be all the glory. 🙏❤️”.
