Alex Head has proven that getting expelled from school is not a hindrance to one’s success in life. Alex proved this by becoming a successful entrepreneur after she was expelled from school. The Sun UK reports that Alex, who was expelled from school when she was 15 for starting a food fight, set up her own catering business with just £350 (N164,760.85) For the past nine years, Alex’s business yearly turnover has increased by over 100% for the past nine years – and in 2020, Alex is set to hit the £4m mark (N1,883,639,200).

Alex set up the business Social Pantry from her friend’s laptop 10 years after she was kicked out of school. The 34-year-old entrepreneur began selling homemade lunches to her dad’s colleagues at his office. Alex’s business has catered for the likes of Gigi Hadid and Rihanna.

Despite being expelled from school, Alex still managed to get 8 GCSEs and did a cooking course at Ballymaloe cooking school in Ireland when she was 18 before proceeding to study Hospitality at Oxford Brookes university.
