• Actor and parliamentary candidate for the NDC has paid the school fees of some brilliant but needy students of the University of Ghana

The National Democratic Congress( NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuguon, John Dumelo, has paid the school fees of 50 brilliant but needy students. The 50 students are all from the University of Ghana in his constituency. Dumelo’s Foundation settled the school fees of these students in full on Thursday, February 27, 2020.

He made the kind gesture public on his social media handles. According to the MP aspirant, his foundation which started in 2012 is there to support such cases to provide hope and support for everyone in the society.

Dumelo opined that the 50 students wouldn’t be the only beneficiaries of the Foundation.

He has been touching the lives of many people, especially the youth and aged women in his constituency. He has on some occasions visited students of the premier university, which falls within the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency with food, organised parties, joined cleanup exercises and played cards with some people in the constituency.
