“It’s Truly Disheartening To See A Social Media Influencer Use Their Platform To Wish Death On Anyone At All, No Matter Your Political Views”- Eniola Badmus Admonishes Influencers

Eniola Badmus is a Nigerian professional film actress, script writer, entertainer and a social media influencer. She is presently the Special Assistant to the Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives on Social Events and Public Hearings.

After the death of Buhari, many influencers commented about the hardship the late president brought to Nigerians via their social media platforms.

Eniola recently sent warnings to influencers who use their platform to wish death on anyone because of their political views.

Badmus describes it as disheartening while adding that one should never let hate over ride our humanity.

In her words:

“It’s truly disheartening to see a social media influencer use their platform to wish death on anyone at all. No matter your political views, we must never let hate over ride our humanity.

As Nigerians, we are better than this. If we want change, let it be through dialogue, truth, and unity – not violence or death wishes.

Let’s choose decency over division”.
