Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has opened up about his wealth and ownership of four private jets, stressing that he did not rely on church funds to acquire the aircraft.

The cleric made the disclosure while speaking about financial success and the importance of pursuing legitimate avenues to build wealth.

Oyedepo recalled that it took him some time to afford his first brand-new car, but said his experience with aviation came much earlier.

Reflecting on his financial journey, the bishop said, “It took me time to drive the first new car, but it didn’t take me time to start flying.”

He further revealed that he currently has four planes, maintaining that none was purchased with money belonging to the church.

“I’ve never taken a dime from this church to buy any of my planes, and I have 4 planes. I use anyone I like if one is faulty,” he said.

Oyedepo also encouraged people to pursue honest and sustainable ways of creating wealth rather than resorting to activities that could have damaging consequences.

The Living Faith Church founder specifically warned against drug-related activities and betting, which he said should not be viewed as shortcuts to financial prosperity.

“You don’t have to do drugs or NaijaBet. Wealth gotten by vanity shall diminish,” he stated.

His comments have sparked renewed interest, particularly his revelation that he owns four private jets and his insistence that church funds were not used to acquire them.

The remarks have also reignited conversations surrounding wealth creation, entrepreneurship and the financial affairs of prominent religious leaders in Nigeria
