If You’re Over 70 & Afraid To Die, Check Your Salvation- Pastor Adeboye

The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye has said anyone who is over 70 and still afraid of death needs to check his or salvation. Preaching during the first Sunday Thanksgiving of the RCCG new year calendar which held at its headquarters in Lagos, the cleric noted that the government’s advise against old people coming to church was a good one.

Adeboye, however, made a declaration against death, saying everyone would live to declare the word of God, NAN reports.

“Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, old people were advised to stay at home and not come to church which is good advice. “But if you are over 70 years of age and you are still afraid of death, then you should check your salvation,” the preacher stated.

The RCCG GO prophesied that God would destroy coronavirus and no virus would come close to His children. “God will give us total victory on any virus. The Lord who has kept us to see September will keep us to see the new year,” he prayed. The man of God urged congregants to never stop praising the Lord for all He has done.

The RCCG had on Tuesday, August 25, announced that it will be holding the September 2020 Holy Ghost Service online. According to the church, it will continue with its online means of holding its services.
