“I Was A Car Wash Boy”-Successful Blogger And Founder Of GossipMill Naija, Shares Humble Beginnings Story
Somtochukwu Precious Monanu, also known as Pino Vibes, is a media mogul, singer, activist, and the founder of GossipMill Naija.

He recently shared a throwback photo/video from year 2011 reflecting on hard days when he was serving at his mother’s Bush Bar shop in Benin city.

Precious narrated briefly how his mum opened the business after collecting N100K loan from LAPO, while adding that he sold pepper soup with his mum and he was also a car wash boy. He went further to narrate how his father abandoned him with his siblings when he was just 5 years old, insisting that he should go and become a mechanic as he could no longer afford his school fees.

In his words:

“Me in 2011 inside my mother’s Bush Bar shop in Benin city that she opened after collecting N100K loan from LAPO we sold Pepper soup and I was a car wash boy. My dad gave birth to I and my 3 brothers and abandoned all of us when I was just 5years old. my dad stopped taking care of us. looked me in the eyes and told me to go and become a Mechanic and drop out of school that he couldn’t afford my fees again.”
