“I Want To Call The Doctor To Treat My Daddy’s Eyes.”- Nigerian Man Shares Encounter With His Kids
Content Creator The Waziri’s lifestyle popular for creating family contents has shared an emotional encounter with his kids.
Sharing a photo with his kids on Facebook, he wrote:
“My children did the most amazing thing recently😀. It’s obvious now that they wish their daddy could see them, and I’m starting to feel that they are really paying attention to my disability.
As for my daughter Star, who is just three years old, she was playing with my wife’s phone in the living room when all of a sudden, she told my wife, “I want to call the doctor to treat my daddy’s eyes.”
Immediately, I was overwhelmed with emotion 🥲. I walked up to her, gave her a big hug, and told her that the doctors would make me see her very soon.
As for my son William, who is just six years old, I noticed he was watching a father and his son play video games together. I walked up to him and asked what he was watching, and he said,
“The dad is playing a game with his son.” I was about to walk away when he said he wished he could play games with me, but I’m blind. Immediately after he said that, I almost started crying, but I held it in and told him to pray for me to see again. I even started doing research on games a blind father can play with his son on a PlayStation 4 or Nintendo console.
I found a few, but they are not in our budget right now. Just to create that bonding moments with him by playing games with him and make him happy, I’ll get one someday.
To my children, when you grow up to read this post, I want you to know that at a young age, you both wanted Daddy to see. You paid attention to my disability, and I want you to know that I am grateful to both of you. My people, please help me appreciate William and Star on my behalf.
