“I Never Do Any Film Where The Budget Na Less Than 100 Million”-Actor Gideon Okeke

Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke has revealed that he does not get involved in movie projects with budgets below N100 million, saying most of the films he is known for have budgets starting from N300 million.

Speaking during a podcast, the actor explained that his decision is not necessarily about how much he would personally be paid, but the overall budget of the production.

Gideon said, “I never do any film where the budget na less than 100 million. Have you taken your 100 million Naira budget to go and do YouTube film? Maybe I’ll follow you.”

“No, no be pay well. Nothing where I do where the budget na less than 100 million,” he stated.

The actor further revealed that the movies he has featured in are usually high budget productions, which he believes explains why audiences mostly see him in cinema releases and Netflix projects.

“All the film where you know me for, na from 300 million upwards. That’s why you see me for cinema, that’s why you see me for Netflix, yeah,” he added.
