I Hardly Tell People That I’m A Blogger Because They Think Every Blogger Is Rich- Elora Akpotosevbe

Blogging has been a journey for me as I ve only blogged for 4 years, I started blogging January 2016. I’ve had people sliding into my DM to get acquainted on the process of opening a blog. Truth is they think blogging business it’s an automatic way of generating income. Blogging requires, persistence, hard work, most of all you must be passionate about it.

It took linda ikeji 7 years to start making crazy money in blogging, you know what she was doing all those years, she was building her traffic.

So a student sent me message that he loves to own a blog, he said blogging will give him an avenue to generate income and help his parent. The truth is, he doesnt know the process, he might blog for just one year and give up.

By the time he starts the first year, he would be elated and excited, but when he realises how much data he has been burning in the past one year without an income, and also he would need to renew his domain name for his site every year which is paid in dollars, he probably would be exhausted and give up already.

I don’t tell everyone that I’m a blogger because they would want to look at you differently. I don’t pretend to be what I am not. I love this profession, its highly prospective and I thank God that I have finally crossed all the hurdles.
