COVID-19: UK-Based Nigerian Doctor Reuniting With Family After 3 Months

The deadly coronavirus has no doubt put a lot of families through trying times. A UK-based Nigerian doctor recently left his family pleasantly surprised after he reunited with them several weeks after being apart.
His wife and Instagram blogger, Azeezah, took to social media to share an emotional video which captured the moment her husband came home.
According to her post, he had been away for 12 weeks, fighting on front line against the novel virus which has claimed many lives including health practitioners.
In the video, the doctor is seen walking into his home and into the bedroom where he meets his wife and their children.
His daughters who are overjoyed rush over to give him a big hug while his wife remains behind in shock. She soon hugs him and sheds a few tears.
Explaining how the moment was for them, Azeezah wrote: “We couldn’t hold back the tears. I didn’t believe as we still spoke and he made me understand he was on his way to work not knowing he was headed for the airport We were apart for exactly 12 weeks ( March -June) Something I never imagined in my entire life. Alhamdulilah we reunited in good health.”
