British-Nigerian Nursing Student Killed By Roommate In Houston Over Pet Dispute

According to Houston police, Elizabeth Tamilore Odunsi, a 23-year-old British-Nigerian nursing student, was killed by her roommate Chester Lamar Grant, 40, following an argument over their shared cats in Houston, Texas.

Chester Grant allegedly stabbed Odunsi mult!ple times in the kitchen before attempting to take his own life by stabbing himself in the bedroom.

Police responded to a welfare check at the apartment and found Odunsi pronounced dead at the scene, while Grant was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

Grant was later taken to the Harris County Jail and is being held on a $500,000 bond. He is slated to appear in court.

Odunsi was just days away from graduating with her nursing degree and had dreams of working with children.
