“Baba Is Currently 89 Years Old But Has The Intellectual Capacity Of A 25 Years Old”-Nigerian Man Shares Encounter With Former President Obasanjo

Nigerian man named Udochukwu Chinwendu shares encounter with former president Obasanjo after siting with him for 2 hours.

In his words:

“Seeth Thou a Man Diligent in His Business, He Shall Stand Among Kings; He Shall not Stand Before Mean Men!”… Proverbs 22:29

MEETING WITH PRESIDENT OBASANJO CHANGED EVERYTHING

It is very rare in the lifetime of men to sit one-on-one with a former president of a country.

First, it felt unreal for me but then, it is real.

On Saturday, July 4th, I sat with Former President Obasanjo for more than 2 hours at the prestigious Delborough Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Baba is currently 89 years old but has the intellectual capacity of a 25 years old.

Sharp! Energetic! Poised! Fun!

For more than 2 hours, Baba told us the story of his life.

The hardest choice he has ever made in his life.

The perspective debacle that happened between Himself, Charles Soludo, Ngozi Okonjo-Iwuala, The World Bank, IMF and how he mitigated it.

There are some wisdom of life that no matter how read, you won’t get them until you seat with the carrier.

Being fully aware that opportunities such as this do not come twice in a lifetime, I asked Baba a question that has startled my heart for long…. “How Does One Remain Relevant Across Generations?”

Baba gave me a 45 Minutes Masterclass on Sustaining Generational Relevance (I will share the video later).

Among many things he said was that there are two words that do not exist in his dictionary – ‘HATE AND HATRED’.

That indeed was an encounter for me.

Every time I have had the opportunity to meet great men/women especially those who are at the zenith of accomplishment, I do not ask for anything except wisdom.

And, the best way to drink from the wisdom of greatness is to tap into the story that built it,

It is foolishness to sit with greatness and all you go away with is just a photograph.

Finally, whatever God has put in your hands, do it as if your whole life depends on it.

It will certainly open doors for you.
